One evening I was cleaning up the kitchen after putting my oldest daughter to bed. My husband, Nathanial was sitting on the couch watching tv. Average day for us both right? He normally heads to bed early so by 9pm it was just me, myself and I – which I didn’t mind at times ;)

Earlier that day I had just started incorporating some day to day spirit work and was trying to learn what my strongest abilities as an empath were. I sat in my usual spot, by the fireplace in our home in NC at the time. I did my meditation routines and just simply asked. Exhaling a breath out, I whispered, “what are my strongest abilities as an empathic medium?” I felt stuck, I could see a brown door, it was bolted shut. Feeling behind there was the answer I was looking for. I felt the message of needing to “experience the first” in order to open any door. Puzzled but understanding, I finished up my clearing and decided it was time for bed.

I decided to grab some water before heading into the bedroom. Before reaching to turn the last light switch off, the brightest and most light bluish light was hovering about a foot away from my face. It had a piercing white stream of light surrounding it and expanding towards my heart. It literally was this big blob of blue! I immediately “saw” in my minds eye what felt to be Arc Angel Michael. I don’t know how or why but that immediately came into my mind. I could hear chatter but couldn’t make out what was being said, It was like the light was pushing out noise to get my focus. I started being “shown” that seeing and hearing were the biggest piece of my spirituality and overall purpose in my day to day living. Now don’t get me wrong, it really caught me off guard and I was star struck. I didn’t know whether to run or just stay there but even if I did wanted to run, I couldn’t. I couldn’t really move because of how calming the energy was from this beaming light and the constant chitchat coming from the energy.

All of this happened within a 10 second time span. Within a blink of an “eye” the beautiful blue light was gone. I had new and focused filled energy about myself that I never knew or felt before. I felt like a piece of me was missing but now found. I realized then my strongest way of navigating was by seeing and hearing.
